As an Audit Semi Senior, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit assignments from planning through to completion. You’ll work closely with managers and partners, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Leading audits from planning through to completion for SME clients
• Conducting audit fieldwork, testing controls, and preparing high-quality work papers
• Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing constructive feedback
• Identifying risk areas and ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards
• Attending client meetings and building strong working relationships
• Supporting audit completion, finalisation, and partner sign-off
• Assisting with accounts preparation and liaising with tax teams where required

This role would suit an Audit Semi Senior who is technically strong, confident working with clients, and keen to progress their career within practice.

You are likely to be:

• ACCA or ACA part qualified, finalist, or newly qualified
• Currently working in an accountancy practice audit role
• Experienced in leading or assisting audits for SME clients
• Comfortable managing fieldwork and meeting deadlines
• A strong communicator with a professional and approachable manner
• A team player who enjoys supporting junior colleagues
