Kettering Health is actively recruiting a talented and motivated thoracic surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess stellar surgical dexterity, exceptional interpersonal skills and maturity, a robust set of clinical and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, collegial, and have a willingness to learn.
Kettering Healths cardiothoracic surgery group is a leading practice in Dayton, Ohio. Our program conducts approximately 600 open heart surgeries annually. Our group primarily focuses on cardiac and thoracic surgeries with the intention of expanding. We also offer specialized programs, including TAVR, Mitra Clip, and ECMO.
Job Requirements :
- 6-year integrated Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency or General Surgery residency followed by a 2-3-year cardiothoracic surgery residency
- Board Certified/Board Eligible; accepting practicing physicians and new graduates
- H1B visa sponsorship available (No J1 visa sponsor ships)

Kettering Health Main Campus and Kettering Health Dayton Hospital - Da Vinci Xi robot and Ion robot
- Thoracic and Cardiac cases
- Group cardiothoracic call
- APP support in clinic, surgery, and rounding
- OR/Clinic
- OR - 4 days;
Clinic - 1 day - Clinic is located at hospital
- OR - 4 days;
- Critical Care support - 24/7
Kettering Health:
- 9 Hospitals
- 120 Outpatient locations throughout southwestern Ohio (Providing a large referral base.)
- 70+ Primary Care offices which offer a large referral base
