Med Pro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Home Health Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Kettering, Ohio.

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or actively pursuing licensure.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• CCC certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

• Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits.
• Teach patients how to make sounds, improve voice, and increase oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively.
• Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals so patients can develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills for educational, vocational, and social roles.
