Admin Director Nursing - Peri-Op Services

Overview

Kettering Health Main Campus | Kettering | Full-Time | Varied Shift

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing; or a Bachelors in another field and a Master’s degree in Nursing
• Masters in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required. Will consider candidates working towards completion of the degree.
• National Certification relative to role is preferred

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive management experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills towards leading nursing indicators
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Perioperative setting. Operating Room experience preferred for this role

• Ability to evaluate statistical data for use in planning and monitoring operations and budgets
• Has proven skills in developing high performance teams
• Demonstrates an understanding of federal, state, and private payment systems
• Capable of resolving escalated issues require for operation and coordination of interdepartmental, and interhospital collaboration
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborates with other executives in the organization about making decisions about health care services, settings, and organizational priorities.
• Promotes a practice environment that empowers nurses and others to provide effective, compassionate, and efficient care
