Qualifications

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP (or actively pursuing licensure)
• At least one year of professional experience
• Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Current CPR certification
• Certified by CCC’s
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, or language deficits
• Teach patients to produce sounds, improve voice, and enhance oral or written language skills for effective communication
• Instruct patients on swallowing strategies to prevent choking or aspiration
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet speech therapy goals
• Set realistic, achievable communication and swallowing goals to enable patients to fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles
