Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders for a diverse adult population in a skilled nursing and short‑term rehabilitation setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support functional recovery, discharge planning, and safe swallowing outcomes.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Ohio state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing and short‑term rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia management, cognitive‑communication assessment, and adult neurogenic disorders preferred.
- Previous travel or per diem experience in long‑term care or SNF environments.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records used in post‑acute care.
- Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills.
- Schedule:
