Join Kettering Home Care as a Physical Therapist Assistant and help patients regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health PTA, you’ll work under the direction of a Physical Therapist while providing one‑on‑one care, supporting individualized treatment plans, and helping patients reach their therapy goals.

- Supportive clinical, scheduling, and admissions teams
- Provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with exercises, mobility, strengthening, and functional goals
- Support treatment plans focused on restoring independence and improving quality of life
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety, and equipment use
- Observe and report patient progress, changes, and concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Complete timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and Medicare guidelines
- Participate in case conferences, trainings, and on‑call requirements as needed
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience in an acute care setting required
- Home health experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field
