Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals, including RNs and LPNs;
Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation;
Take and record patients' vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed by the healthcare team;
Assist with serving and feeding of patients, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration;
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients;
Assist with infection-control and maintaining a clean, safe patient-care environment;
Report changes in patients' condition or behavior to supervising nurse or healthcare provider;
Document care provided and observations in facility policies and procedures
