CNC Machinist

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail‑driven CNC Machinist for the 1st shift, 45 hours per week. Pay ranges from $28 to $38 per hour and is negotiable based on experience. The role involves creating parts that help defend America in a stable, growing precision‑machining environment.

• 45 hours per week
• Core hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday
• Occasional overtime

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and specifications
• Program, set‑up, and operate Mazak CNC mills and lathes
• Measure and inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, indicators, CMMs, optical comparators, and other precision gauges
• Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve tooling challenges
• Select appropriate metals and materials based on specifications, performance requirements, and material properties
