POSITION: SCHOOL NURSE – Effective 2026-27 School Year

LOCATION: KETTERING CITY SCHOOLS

GENERAL INFORMATION: This person will conduct and coordinate school health services and programs for the Kettering City School District.
MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE WITH SCHOOL NURSE LICENSURE OR PURSUING CERTIFICATION.

• Conduct health screening and tests.
• Refer students for medical and dental care.
• Maintain up-to-date cumulative health records.
• Provide care for ill and injured students.
• Implement policy on exclusions.
• Prepare reports for Superintendent and State Board of Health.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Valid Ohio Professional Nurse's License.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License.
• Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
• Collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Salary: According to the approved salary schedule.
