Evening RN; Registered Nurse

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) for Kettering Home Care – provides skilled nursing in patient homes, supporting patients’ quality of life.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:00pm – 9:00pm

• Plan of Care – observe and monitor patient conditions, perform OASIS assessments, develop individualized care plans.
• Minimize Patient Risk – administer medication, prioritize visits for high‑risk patients.
• Continuity of Care – manage multidisciplinary care, coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Family Educator/Advocate – educate patient and family, using teach‑back methods.
• Policies – complete clinical documentation per agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
• Rules and Regulations – follow agency policies, update scheduling as needed.
• Operations – attend in‑service training and mandatory agency meetings.

• Compassionate communicator with a positive attitude.
• Patience in working with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
• Attention to detail and observance of directions.
• Ability to follow directions.

• Registered Nurse with current license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one‑year RN experience in an acute‑care setting.
• Home‑care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name.
• Capable of all required physical duties.
