Rotating Shift Part-Time Cook (Food Services)
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to the menu.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and special diet requirements.
- Prepare meals that are nutritious, appealing, and resident-friendly.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
- Properly store, label, and rotate food supplies.
- Work closely with dietary staff and other departments.
- Help ensure meals are ready and served on time.
- Listen to residents' needs and help make mealtime an enjoyable experience.
- Previous cooking experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person!
- Dependable and punctual.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Able to follow recipes and instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to food safety.
- Compassionate and respectful toward older adults.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
