Overview

YEAR-ROUND STABLE 40 HOUR WORK

Position:
Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician

Schedule and Compensation
  • Schedule:

    8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call once every 5 weeks (USD $100 bonus for on-call weeks and minimum 1.5 hours paid for call outs).
  • Compensation: USD $21–$23 per hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to USD $750.

Responsibilities
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
  • Turn and make units ready between tenant occupancy.
  • Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
  • Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
  • Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
  • Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred; 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry; plumbing and electrical experience.
  • EPA Universal Certification a plus; CPO Certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge of appliances, including washers and dryers.
  • Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (to be completed during interview).
