We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The technician will perform warranty service work, ensure equipment operates efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, thermostats, and indoor air quality systems.
- Perform warranty service calls in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and airflow-related issues.
- Conduct system inspections and preventive maintenance services.
- Complete warranty documentation, service reports, and parts requests accurately and promptly.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to homeowners in a professional manner.
- Verify proper system operation after repairs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain service vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Follow all safety procedures, EPA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with dispatchers, warranty administrators, manufacturers, and management to resolve service issues efficiently.
- Participate in on-call rotation and emergency service coverage as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- HVAC certification or technical school training preferred.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Minimum 2–5 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC diagnostic procedures, refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, and airflow principles.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.
