Full-time Bank Teller – Kewanee, IL

• Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers
• Balance a cash drawer daily with accuracy and efficiency
• Identify customer needs and provide information on bank products and services, with appropriate referrals to CSRs, lenders, or other banking professionals
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally
• Learn, understand, and follow all retail banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
• Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and bank information
• Assist with assignments or projects as needed to ensure adequate staffing and smooth branch operations, including possible travel to other branch locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous banking experience preferred
• Cash handling experience required
• Retail or sales experience strongly preferred
• Ability to successfully complete any required background checks or regulatory screenings

• Proven customer service skills with a customer‑first mindset
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong aptitude for math and numerical accuracy
• Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Most duties are performed in a climate‑controlled office environment
• May be exposed to hot or cold weather conditions when traveling between branch locations
• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting may be required
• Must be able to handle cash, use standard office equipment, and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
