JOB

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Repair Technician, you will:

  • Interact with customers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Service customer‑owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Maintain store‑owned gear, as requested.
  • Complete warranty repair work.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Customer Focus:
    Understands customer service principles, provides an excellent customer experience, connects with customers in a meaningful way, and handles customer service issues.
  • Initiative:
    Identifies opportunities & issues, follows through on work activities, learns quickly, takes positive action without being requested, and develops knowledge and skills in product, store operations, sales, and leadership.
  • Selling:
    Works through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
  • Training:
    Effectively trains learners and communicates information and techniques so that they are retained.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Skilled understanding of repairing guitars.
  • Foundational product knowledge of Guitar Center products (preferred).
