RepairTechnician Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance and repair services on customer‑owned instruments and assist in maintenance of specific store inventory.
- Build and increase the business through great customer experience and quality work.
- Interact with customers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Service customer‑owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store‑owned gear as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
- Customer Focus:
Understands customer service principles and provides an excellent customer experience, connects in a meaningful way, is approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers, and handles customer service issues. - Initiative:
Identifies opportunities and issues and follows through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them, learns quickly, takes positive action without being requested, and develops knowledge and skills including product, store operations, sales, and leadership. - Selling:
Works through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques. - Training:
Effectively trains learners and communicates info and techniques so that they are retained.
- Skilled understanding of repairing Guitars.
- Foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products.
