Role DescriptionThe Uniform Room Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Key Biscayne, FL, responsible for overseeing all aspects of uniform inventory, distribution, and presentation. This role manages daily operations in the uniform room, including receiving and organizing garments, tracking stock levels, coordinating fittings, and ensuring team members receive appropriate uniforms on time. The manager maintains accurate records, prepares reports, and works closely with internal stakeholders to align uniform availability with staffing and brand standards.
The position also includes supervising any uniform room staff, enforcing quality and cleanliness standards, and proactively resolving issues related to sizing, replacements, and special requests.
- Inventory and operations skills: experience managing stock levels, organizing storage areas, and implementing efficient uniform room processes.
- Customer service and communication skills: ability to support team members professionally, handle inquiries, and collaborate with internal departments.
- Organizational and time‑management skills: capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle peak periods without compromising accuracy.
- Supervisory and leadership skills: experience overseeing staff, assigning tasks, and maintaining a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Technical and data skills: comfort using inventory or ERP systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools to track usage and forecast needs.
- Attention to detail and quality focus: commitment to maintaining garment standards, correct sizing, and consistent presentation aligned with brand guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, fashion merchandising, or hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in uniform management, retail operations, hospitality, or a related field is strongly preferred.
