This attorney role supports a boutique legal practice handling a range of trust and estates, business/corporate, and civil litigation matters. The attorney will take on meaningful responsibility within their primary area of experience, whether focused on estate planning and administration, fiduciary or civil disputes, or business-related legal work. The role offers direct client interaction, hands-on involvement in matters from strategy through execution, and close collaboration with partners in a high-touch, fast-paced environment.
The position is structured so that an attorney may focus on one primary practice area or a combination of these areas, depending on prior experience. Experience in all three areas is not required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle trust and estate matters, including estate planning, administration, and/or litigation, based on experience
- Represent fiduciaries and beneficiaries in contested matters, when applicable
- Support business and corporate legal matters as needed
- Manage civil litigation matters aligned with prior experience
- Work directly with high-net-worth domestic and international clients
- Collaborate closely with partners on strategy, filings, and court appearances
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Licensed to practice law in Florida
- 2–5 years of legal experience
- Experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Trusts & estates
- Business/corporate law
- Civil litigation
- Experience in two or more of these areas is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, versatile, and client-facing
- International client experience is a plus
