Building Maintenance, Maintenance Worker
Description
As a Painter / Maintenance Staff Member, you will maintain building/facility by cleaning surfaces, mixing and applying paint and other finishers; prepare interior and exterior surfaces of building/units/common areas. The position may be indoors to maintain the interior of the community, outdoors to maintain the exterior, or a mixture of both.
Your Responsibilities- Ensure that security procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Perform painting of all common areas and touch up as required.
- Inspect areas that need paint and advise manager.
- Properly match colors and mix paint.
- Follow all safety precautions while performing work.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with building staff.
- Complete daily work orders as scheduled.
- Utilize new equipment correctly and follow safety procedures before using equipment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in paint application.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Lift up to 50 lbs following safety procedures.
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods; reach overhead; have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
- Work in various positions including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods; climb stairs; navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required.
- Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (max 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on extension ladders).
- Work in different environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).
- Repeat various motions with wrists, hands, fingers.
- Lifting, pulling and pushing materials and equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information orally and in writing.
- Maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Compensation$20.00 per hour
