Keys Auto Center is seeking an Automotive Detail Manager to lead our detailing team and ensure every vehicle meets our high presentation standards. Responsibilities include supervising detail technicians, scheduling work, maintaining supplies, and enforcing quality and safety procedures. You will inspect finished vehicles, train staff on best practices, and collaborate with sales and service to meet customer expectations. Ideal candidates have prior detailing and leadership experience, strong attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the automotive detailing team, including training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Plan daily workflow and schedule detailing jobs to support sales and service priorities
- Perform and oversee complete interior and exterior detailing for new, used, and customer vehicles
- Inspect all detailed vehicles for quality and ensure they meet dealership appearance standards
- Coordinate closely with sales and service departments to ensure vehicles are ready on time for delivery and pick-up
- Manage inventory and ordering of detailing supplies, chemicals, and equipment
- Maintain detailing equipment such as buffers, extractors, pressure washers, and vacuums
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations for chemical handling and waste disposal
- Implement and improve standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and reduce rework
- Handle customer or internal concerns about vehicle appearance and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Required Skills
- Automotive detailing (interior and exterior)
- Paint correction and machine polishing
- Use of buffers, polishers, and extractors
- Stain and odor removal techniques
- Leather, vinyl, and fabric care
- Vehicle washing and decontamination processes

- Basic safety and OSHA awareness for chemical handling
