Lead Teacher Position (K-2)
Sigsbee Charter School, located in Key West, is looking for the best candidate to fill a Lead Teacher position (K-2) and become a part of our amazing team for the school year. Sigsbee offers a competitive salary and living allowance to all of our staff members. The school is located at 939 Felton Rd, Key West, FL 33040. The position is for Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade for the school year, starting July 30, 2026.
The base salary ranges from $62,700 to $104,700, commensurate with experience. Sigsbee's living allowance is $1,000 per month. Teachers earn a total of 7 days of paid leave per school year (5 sick days and 2 personal days). Eligibility for Florida certification is required. FL certification in Elementary Education (Grades K-6) or Prekindergarten/Primary Education (age 3 through grade
3) is a prerequisite for teaching in the field.
