Middle School English Language Arts Teacher

One of these educator certification options is required to teach this course in field:
English (Grades 6-12) OR Middle Grades English (Grades 5-9)
How to become FL certified in English (grades 6-12):
- Out-of-State Certification:
If you hold an unexpired, out-of-state, professional educator certificate in this subject area, please apply for Florida reciprocity. - English Major:
Commonly accepted bachelor's (or higher degree) majors for a Florida temporary educator certificate include:
English, Literature (English), Creative Writing, Language Arts. - Other Majors:
For other degree majors, passing the FTCE Subject Area Exam in English 612 is required. Visit the testing website for further details.
