Radiology Technologist , BHMG Ortho Surgical - Key West

Description

Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging under the general direction of a physician, including fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity. Ensures the principles of ALARA are achieved and participates in department quality improvement processes to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Depending on departmental business needs, this position supports department patient workflow, including front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient intake, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice.

Estimated pay range for this position is $27.72 - $36.04 / hour depending on experience.

• Degrees:
  High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.

• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.
• Basic Life Support.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist.

• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• ARRT Radiography certified or eligible.
• Depending on departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in skills such as vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc.
• Change agility and flexibility a must.
