A Day in the life...

The Spa Manager oversees a dedicated team of spa professionals and ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences aligned with our hotel’s elevated standards. The ideal candidate brings leadership, operational excellence, financial acumen, and a passion for wellness in a luxury hospitality setting.
Please note: this role is required to hold a valid FL Spa (LMT) License.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations, including treatments, retail, scheduling, guest flow, and service standards.
• Ensure a consistently warm, welcoming, and tranquil environment that reflects the ethos of the hotel and the Key West destination.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and safety across all spa facilities in compliance with local health and sanitation regulations.
• Manage vendor relationships, service menus, pricing, and seasonal special offerings.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of therapists, receptionists, and attendants.
• Conduct ongoing training to maintain high-quality treatment standards and guest service excellence.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance reviews, and recruitment for spa roles.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and wellness-focused team culture.

• Uphold a guest-centric approach, ensuring seamless and personalized spa experiences from booking to departure.
• Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and quick problem-solving.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement enhancements to improve service delivery and satisfaction.

• Manage the spa’s P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control.
• Track revenue, average treatment rates, retail sales, and utilization metrics.
• Develop strategies to increase profitability through marketing initiatives, retail optimization, membership programs, and package offerings.
• Maintain accurate inventory controls for products, supplies, and retail merchandise.

• Collaborate with hotel marketing and sales teams to promote spa services, seasonal treatments, and stay/spa package opportunities.
• Represent the spa in local wellness partnerships, events, and community engagement aligned with the Key West lifestyle.

Requirements

You've got this, if you bring:

• Previous Spa Supervisor/Management experience preferably in an upscale or luxury hotel/resort environment.
• A Valid Florida State Spa (LMT) License is a must
• Strong team leadership and employee development skills, with experience managing small teams.
• Proven track record of operational and financial management success.
• Exceptional guest service orientation and ability to create memorable, personalized experiences.
• Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness trends, and retail product lines.
• Proficient with scheduling, booking, and POS systems.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as operationally required.
