STRATEGOS (est. 2008) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that provides consulting, training, and engineering to the U.S. Government. The Watercraft Maintenance Technician (WMT) supports over 40 boats and trailers at the Special Forces Underwater Operations facility in Key West, FL.

Responsibilities

• MUST HAVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
• Maintain the Zodiac F470 Combat Rubber Raiding Craft and all required maintenance, including valve, hole, cut, tear, transom, and baffle replacement, as scheduled in the 3M maintenance program SKED.
• Maintain all diver dry suits.
• Assist with issue, return/turn-in, storage, inventory, calibration, maintenance, and repairs (including depot-level repairs) of all mission equipment, support equipment, tools, dive gear, and test equipment.
• Monitor the calibration schedule to ensure complete and timely calibration of all assigned calibrated items within the Dive Life Support and Maintenance Facility.
• Maintain a detailed working knowledge of all equipment deficiencies, report material deficiencies, and submit material requisitions.
• Maintain Reentry Control (REC) Logs and Failure Analysis or Inadequacy Report (FAIR) forms.
• Maintain an adequate supply of Government provided 3-M System forms and materials.
• Ensure maximum use of Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) to train personnel.
• Maintain control and accountability of Job Sequence Numbers (JSN’s).
• Review Maintenance Requirements Criteria (MRC’s).
• Maintain an accurate and current List of Effective Pages (LOEP’s).
• Ensure programmed Periodic Maintenance Requirements (PMRs) are completed and reported in strict accordance with the PMR.
• Ensure proper testing and inspection of work done by outside activities.
• Have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Be able to operate a standalone computer without assistance and be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Must possess a valid, unencumbered, state driver’s license.
• Must possess excellent work ethic, verbal and written communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing all functions.
• Must be familiar with AR 25‑50 and be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance.
• Experience maintaining combat rubber raiding craft and supporting mission equipment in a naval environment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
