With a portfolio of distinctive properties, we’re looking for a full-time Pool Technician to keep our pools and spas safe, clean, and guest-ready.
This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who takes pride in detail, embraces technology, and communicates well across teams. As a Pool Technician, you’ll play a key role in upholding Brightwild’s reputation for exceptional service while ensuring our guests enjoy a flawless poolside experience.
ResponsibilitiesPreventative Maintenance
- Test and balance water chemistry daily (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
- Maintain pumps, filters, heaters, and circulation systems
- Brush walls, vacuum, skim debris, and clean decks
- Inspect and clean skimmers, baskets, and drains
- Perform scheduled backwashing and filter service
Reactive Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, timers)
- Address leaks, clogs, and circulation issues
- Replace worn parts (seals, o-rings, valves, etc.)
- Shock/treat pools and spas as needed to restore water quality
- Respond promptly to guest or team-reported issues
Technology & Communication
- Use company apps to log chemical readings, manage tasks, and track work
- Coordinate with Guest Experience Managers, Housekeeping, and Maintenance on pool readiness
- Maintain accurate digital service records
- Partner with outside vendors for complex repairs when required
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety codes
- Uphold Brightwild’s standards for guest safety, cleanliness, and presentation
- Support the wider Maintenance team as needed
- Experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of pool/spa chemistry and equipment operation
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation between property sites
- Smartphone or device for company apps
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical tasks regularly
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic tech skills and comfort with digital tools
- Friendly, customer-service mindset when interacting with guests
- Schedule flexibility, including occasional after-hours availability
