Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Key West, FL, for a Family Support Specialist. The Family Support Specialist will work directly with families to provide guidance, support, and advocacy to promote child safety, family development, and well-being. Core responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing case plans, coordinating services with community resources, maintaining detailed records, and advocating for client needs within the community.
The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to create a positive impact on families and children.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Family Services, Early Childhood Development and Community Outreach to connect families with relevant community resources and programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust-based relationships with families and other stakeholders.
- HSD minimum
- On the job training in HFA homevisitng
- Familiarity with local resources in Monroe County, FL, is highly advantageous.
- Commitment to child safety, family empowerment, and ethical practices in service delivery.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage cases with a high degree of organization.
