American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in Key West, FL, requiring prior travel experience and a valid FL or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- PALS required; may be obtained within 30 days of start if not currently held
- AWHONN preferred; can be completed onsite if not already obtained
- Minimum 2 years of experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, or mother/baby nursing
- Minimum 2 prior travel assignments required
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- AHCA compliance required for FL placement
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Labor and Delivery (LDRP) unit in an acute care hospital setting in Key West, FL
- Patient care spans antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
- Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 12-week contract
- Floating to other units required based on facility needs
- Provides nursing care across the full obstetrical continuum, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care
- Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
- Delegates and supervises patient care assignments based on staff education and experience
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Candidates must secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance and provide the address
- Blocked scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
