Packages groceries
  • Takes groceries to customers’ vehicles & places them inside; assists in cleaning duties; brings shopping carts in from the parking lot.
  • Cleans & stocks rest rooms; sweeps & mops floors; empties & disposes of trash.

Cashier
  • Weighs, scans & packages groceries; operates cash terminal; handles cash & other forms of tender.
  • Cleans work area & assists in cleaning throughout the department; greets customers & responds to customer questions.

Booth Cashier
  • Weighs, scans & packages groceries; answers incoming phone calls; handles the sale of lottery tickets & other controlled merchandise.
  • Operates cash terminal; handles cash & other forms of tender; cleans work area & assists in cleaning throughout the department.
  • Greets customers & responds to customer questions.
  • Age requirement:

Deli Utility
  • Cleans & washes deli equipment & work areas; unloads trucks; rotates product in coolers & storage areas to work preparation areas.

Deli Sales & Prep
  • Serves customers; selects & packages product; rotates product.
  • Prepares product for sale including cooking products as necessary; prepares orders & party trays.

    Minors are restricted from performing some of the job duties within this class with the exception of students in a qualified training program.
Deli Cook
  • Coordinates menu with deli manager; prepares food for sale in the deli department.
  • Serve customers during high traffic hours; prepares deli trays.
  • Operates oven, fryer, scale, cutting tools, etc.

Grocery
  • Orders product; unloads trucks; stocks & rotates product in assigned sections & displays.
  • Organizes back‑stock area; cleans, sweeps & mops.
  • Uses pallet jack & other pieces of equipment; operates baler, compactor & other machines.
  • Age requirement:
    At least 18
  • Note:

    Minors are restricted from performing some of the job duties within this class.
Produce
  • Unloads trucks; fills & rotates product on Produce sales floor; price marks product; hangs shelf tags.
  • Age requirement:
    At least 18
Meat Cutter
  • Cut larger pieces of meat from the slaughterhouse into smaller cuts; trim, bone, tie, grind and prepare beef, pork, poultry, and fish into cooking‑size pieces; wrap, weigh and price meat for customers.
  • Position requires the physical strength to lift and carry large cuts of meat between 50-150lbs; able to work with your hands, stand and work in lower than normal temperatures for extended periods of time.
