What you will be doing- Maintain a strong presence on the floor to build relationships with customers, support and develop the team, and drive revenue.
- Serve as a role model and resource for store staff on products, services, policies, procedures, industry news, and regulatory changes.
- Drive sales to meet and exceed targets. Assist the Store Manager in achieving financial goals, including management of the P&L, payroll, and store budgets.
- Prepare for and support company promotions and launches to meet sales targets and deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Continuously train, coach, and provide qualitative feedback using the performance management process to improve team engagement and performance.
- Provide training to ensure store processes align with Standard Operating Procedures, safety practices, cannabis knowledge, and customer service goals.
- Oversee daily store presentation including visual direction.
- Read, interpret, and communicate messages from Corporate Store Operations; update bulletin boards and other communication channels in store.
- Manage staff timekeeping, scheduling, and store staffing to ensure optimal coverage and high-quality customer service.
- Organize back-of-house areas, manage the supply budget, inventory oversight, and stock levels.
- Conduct audits and maintain accurate records; enforce compliance with state and local regulations and company policies.
Required
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient to advanced level
- Flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
- Independent, strategic thinking and business acumen; ability to analyze sales data and create action plans
Preferred
- Proven operations, retail, and cannabis industry experience
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Ability to assist with lifting stock and materials
- Routine use of standard office equipment
- Occasionally positions self to retrieve product or materials in the store
- Self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
- Capable of working in a fast-changing industry
- Collaborative and team-oriented
