Carpenter in Khasab, Oman

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your duties will also include measuring and cutting materials to specifications, installing windows and doors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Starting salary of 1700$ per month.

Khasab, Oman - a beautiful coastal city known for its stunning natural landscapes and rich culture.

Indian preferred.

English fluency required.

This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.

No prior experience required. However, candidates with previous carpentry experience will be given preference.

Accommodation will be provided by the company at no cost to the employee. The accommodation includes a private room with shared facilities.

The company is willing to sponsor a work visa for the selected candidate. However, candidates must meet the necessary requirements set by the government of Oman.

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or drawings
• Cut or shape materials using hand or power tools
• Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
• Assemble structures by nailing or gluing pieces together
• Repair existing wooden structures and fixtures
• Follow safety protocols while handling tools and materials
• Ensure quality control by checking measurements and specifications before installation
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
• Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages or damages to supervisor

• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training in Carpentry
• Proven experience in carpentry work (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in carpentry
• Physically fit to handle manual labor and able to lift heavy materials
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills to complete projects within deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
