The Purchasing Manager - Logistics & Delivery will play a key role in shaping and executing the procurement agenda across the country operation. The Procurement Manager will ensure supply continuity, strengthen supplier partnerships, optimise cost structures, and enhance governance standards in line with Saudi market requirements. It offers experienced professionals the opportunity to influence commercial performance, support business growth, and contribute directly to senior management decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with business goals, market conditions, and growth priorities.
- Lead cost optimisation initiatives without compromising quality, delivery, or supplier reliability.
- Drive value creation through demand aggregation and long‑term sourcing strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes across the procurement portfolio.
- Build strategic relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Lead sourcing activities, vendor consolidation, and framework agreement negotiations.
- Strengthen supplier performance through structured evaluation and relationship management.
- Support long‑term partnerships that improve resilience and commercial advantage.
Supply Continuity & Risk Management
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials, products, and services.
- Identify procurement and supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Monitor market movements, pricing trends, and geopolitical supply factors.
- Develop contingency strategies to protect business continuity and operational readiness.
Governance, Compliance & Process Excellence
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.
- Maintain adherence to relevant Saudi regulatory and commercial requirements.
- Implement controls, systems, and reporting practices that improve transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and performance reporting.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve high performance.
- Set clear objectives and monitor individual and team delivery.
- Provide regular market updates and procurement insights to the Country Manager.
- Support senior leadership with analysis, recommendations, and operational reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership.
- Proven experience managing procurement operations in trading, industrial, or supply-driven environments.
- Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimisation.
- Demonstrated experience working with international suppliers and cross-border procurement activities.
- Sound understanding of procurement governance, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in risk management, supply continuity planning, and market intelligence monitoring.
- Proven leadership capability, including team development, performance management, and capability building.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in reporting to senior management.
- Commercially minded, organised, and capable of balancing strategic priorities with operational demands.
