EHS Officer - Food

Summary-

We are looking for an experienced EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Officer to join our team. The EHS Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and to create a safe working environment for all employees.

• Develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
• Provide safety training to employees on topics such as first aid, emergency response, and proper use of personal protective equipment
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Proven experience as an EHS Officer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, codes, and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Certification in EHS is a plus

Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices
