Title
Project Control/Cost Manager
Job SummaryBusiness Manager/Project Control Manager supports the Program Director in proactive client engagement, maintaining vigilance and sensitivity to client perceptions throughout the life of the program.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with client counterparts regularly to discover, assess, and address relationship concerns early and decisively.
- Discuss with the client how to mitigate issues and concerns.
- Contract Administration including the management of all WERs and PAFs.
- Procurement and Subcontract Support services.
- Project Controls, Cost and Planning.
- Preparation and submission of all weekly and monthly project controls documentation as required by the contract.
- Coordination with Finance for invoicing.
- Proposal preparation.
- Training and development.
- IT & Design systems.
- Document control administration.
- SAPMT seconded personnel.
A background in Project Control is essential.
Experience in the offshore industry or similar industry on mega projects, and a relevant degree for the respective engineering discipline.
Must have thorough knowledge of engineering.
Must be cost conscious and have a good understanding of the fundamentals of planning.
Essentially, strong people management, conflict resolution and excellent communication skills.
