Job OverviewThe Maintenance Assistant Manager supports the Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily maintenance operations across Al Qadsiah Club facilities. This role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and general maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with club standards. The position plays a key role in coordinating teams, managing contractors, and ensuring facilities remain operational, safe, and well‑maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising daily maintenance activities across club facilities.
- Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of all assets and systems.
- Supervise maintenance technicians and support staff, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to required standards.
- Support the preparation of maintenance schedules, work plans, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance works and ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards.
- Monitor maintenance work orders, follow up on pending tasks, and ensure timely closure through the CMMS.
- Assist in managing spare parts, tools, and materials inventory to ensure availability and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote safe working practices.
- Support inspections, audits, and reporting related to maintenance activities and facility conditions.
- Assist in budget control by monitoring maintenance expenses and reporting variances to the Maintenance Manager.
- Act as the Maintenance Manager’s delegate when required and ensure continuity of operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance systems, including MEP, HVAC, civil works, and general facilities maintenance.
- Experience working in large facilities such as sports clubs, stadiums, hotels, malls, or mixed‑use developments.
- Proficiency in CMMS and MS Office applications.
- Good communication skills in English;
Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience in sports facilities or club environments.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and maintenance best practices.
- Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and facility compliance requirements.
- Experience managing multiple teams, shifts, and contractors in a fast‑paced environment.
