About the job Country Manager - Water Services
Our long-standing Tier 1 client is a well-established engineering solutions provider. The organization partners with leading international manufacturers to deliver advanced technical systems and integrated infrastructure solutions across the region. They seeks an experienced Country Manager responsible for leading country-level operations, driving business growth, managing key client and supplier relationships, and ensuring delivery against company strategy, financial targets, and operational performance objectives.
- Lead and manage all country-level operations in line with company strategy, objectives, and business plan.
- Drive business development initiatives to grow market share, secure new opportunities, and expand the client portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Manage supplier performance governance in coordination with Fulfilment, including on‑time delivery, quality, responsiveness, cost, and corrective actions.
- Ensure achievement of financial targets, including revenue growth, profitability, margin performance, and budget control.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead, manage, and develop the local team, ensuring clear KPIs, accountability, productivity, and alignment with company goals.
- Minimum 20+ years of relevant experience in country management, commercial leadership, supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related business operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.
- CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent professional certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong sales, business development, commercial negotiation, supplier management, financial management, and operational leadership skills.
- Proven experience dealing with international suppliers and cross-border business environments.
- Strong leadership, team‑building, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Commercially focused, performance‑driven, and able to identify and convert market opportunities into business growth.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning, industry engagement, workshops, and relevant development activities.
