About the job Sales Manager – ICT and HCIS

Our long-standing tier 1 client is a well-established engineering solutions provider operating across the power generation, water treatment, desalination, and utilities sectors. With a strong regional presence and partnerships with international technology suppliers, the organisation supports digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

They are intent on locating a Sales Manager – Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Healthcare Information Systems (HCIS) solutions will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share. Reporting to the Country Manager, this position carries strategic responsibility for business development, key account management, and executive-level engagement. The role offers high visibility, direct exposure to C-level stakeholders, and the opportunity to shape commercial strategy within a growing and competitive market.

Strategic

Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Drive ICT and HCIS solution sales across corporate and government sectors.
  • Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Align annual sales strategy with overall revenue objectives.
Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour.
  • Expand market penetration through structured opportunity mapping.
  • Generate sustainable revenue pipelines and long-term growth.
Key Account & Executive Engagement
  • Manage major accounts as primary commercial point of contact.
  • Build long-term relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Identify digital transformation needs and position tailored solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Commercial Governance
  • Provide regular market intelligence updates to the Country Manager.
  • Present performance reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Address commercial challenges proactively with leadership guidance.
  • Maintain compliance with internal sales and reporting standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in ICT or technology solution sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
  • Experience selling into corporate and government sectors.
  • Demonstrated exposure to healthcare information systems preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen with strategic planning capability.
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Background working with international technology suppliers.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven team-building and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with market trend interpretation ability.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and technical knowledge enhancement.
