Overview
We are in an expansion phase and are seeking to enlarge our sales team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. We are hiring for the positions of Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, and Senior Sales Executive for our company based in Saudi Arabia (Al Khobar, Raka).
We are looking for candidates from the freight forwarding industry.
Responsibilities- Find industries engaged in foreign trade that require freight forwarding services.
- Present the full range of services to current and potential clients, following up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Enhance the customer base by continually onboarding new clients and achieving set targets immediately after joining.
- Collect market intelligence on air and sea freight to explore new business opportunities and lucrative trade lanes.
- Attend client inquiries and send proposals and quotations.
- Visit clients regularly and maintain effective relationships to understand their business needs and provide productive solutions.
- Negotiate best buying rates from vendors and overseas agents.
- Engage with shipping lines for required cargo space.
- Monitor freight movement from origin to destination and provide timely updates to clients.
- Communicate with external parties such as overseas agents, airports, sea port brokers, shipping lines, and custom clearance teams to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain CRM records to track, manage, and follow up all business development activity.
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field).
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics.
- Sales experience in freight forwarding, strong familiarity with shipping line and airline terms, and knowledge of custom clearance in Saudi Arabia.
- Knowledge of the Dammam area.
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication (verbal and written), and analytical skills.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, proactive, and able to work collaboratively while also comfortable with independent decision‑making.
- Cultural awareness and adaptability to navigate diverse business environments.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Candidate nationality:
Indian, strong Visa/Transferable Iqama, immediate or one-month notice period.
