Role PurposeThe Business Development Director – Energy will own the growth agenda for Front End's Energy portfolio, driving revenue expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. The role is responsible for originating, shaping, and closing major opportunities with national oil companies, government entities, EPC contractors, and industrial operators, while deepening strategic partnerships with Front End's global technology partners.

Valves, Actuators & Testing;
Subsurface & Seismic Services;
Drilling & Rig Services;
Energy Infrastructure Solutions;
Well Construction & Production; AI, Optimization & Compliance; and Waste-to-Energy & Pyrolysis Solutions. - Build and manage a robust, qualified pipeline of opportunities across upstream, midstream, downstream, and renewable/circular-economy segments.
- Identify emerging market opportunities driven by Saudi Vision 2030 programs, energy transition initiatives, localization (IKTVA) requirements, and giga-projects.
- Develop and own executive-level relationships with key accounts including Saudi Aramco, SABIC, ministries, and other government and industrial stakeholders.
- Lead capture planning, positioning, and pre-qualification for major tenders and framework agreements.
- Serve as the senior commercial face of Front End Energy at industry events, conferences, and client engagements across KSA and the region.
- Strengthen and commercialize Front End's exclusive agency and partnership agreements with international technology providers (e.g., valve/actuator manufacturers, seismic and geoscience providers, drilling contractors, AI optimization platforms).
- Evaluate and recommend new alliances, joint ventures, and agency agreements that expand the Energy portfolio.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiation, and contract closure for complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Collaborate with engineering, project delivery, and operations teams to ensure winnable, deliverable, and profitable solutions.
- Own revenue, order intake, and margin targets for the Energy division; report performance to executive leadership.
- Monitor competitor activity, regulatory developments, and technology trends across oil, gas, renewables, and waste-to-energy markets.
- Ensure full compliance with company governance, ethics, anti-corruption (TRACE), and client procurement standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
- 12–15+ years of business development, sales, or commercial leadership experience in the energy sector (oil & gas services, EPC, drilling, flow control, subsurface/seismic, or energy technology).
- Proven track record of originating and closing large-value contracts (USD 10M+) with NOCs, government entities, or major EPCs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
- Established network within Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and the Kingdom's energy ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of KSA procurement processes, IKTVA/localization requirements, and Vision 2030 energy priorities.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and financial acumen, including P&L or order-intake ownership.
- Experience representing or commercializing international technology partners/agency lines in the Kingdom.
- Exposure to energy transition domains: renewables, CCS, waste-to-energy/pyrolysis, AI-driven optimization, or digital oilfield solutions.
- Fluency in English required;
Arabic strongly preferred.
