Mining Sales Engineer

Job Summary

The Mining Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling drilling rigs and related mining equipment to customers across the Eastern Province and throughout Saudi Arabia.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, providing technical sales support, and achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Eastern Province – Al Khobar City (Travel required across the Eastern Province and throughout Saudi Arabia)

• Promote and sell drilling rigs and mining-related equipment to customers in the mining, quarrying, construction, and industrial sectors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Provide technical guidance and recommend suitable equipment solutions based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit reports.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the mining sector, with direct experience selling drilling rigs, mining equipment, or heavy industrial machinery.
• Strong technical understanding of drilling equipment and mining operations.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mining, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the mining sector
  , preferably with drilling rigs or mining equipment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Eastern Province and throughout Saudi Arabia.
• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Strong commercial awareness, technical aptitude, and customer-focused approach.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
