    • Drive the implementation of disease education, diagnostic initiatives, and patient identification projects.
    • Drive the rollout of launch readiness and lifecycle management activities for assigned indications.
    • 60‑70% of your time will be dedicated to field medical interactions and activities.
  • Scientific Engagement and External Collaboration
    • Build peer‑to‑peer relationships with Key External Experts, academic partners, and referral centres.
    • Organise, lead, and present at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and symposia.
    • Contribute to speaker training, CME partnerships, and scientific programmes.
    • Gather and communicate scientific insights that inform local strategy and identify opportunities for data generation or access improvement.
    • Contribute to brand strategy, launch support, and evidence generation.
  • Evidence Generation and Data Dissemination
    • Support planning and operationalisation of local studies, registries, and Investigator‑Initiated Studies.
    • Contribute to the development and review of scientific materials, ensuring accuracy, balance, and compliance.
    • Disseminate emerging clinical data to internal and external stakeholders ethically and objectively.
  • Cross‑Functional Medical Support
    • Partner with Market Access, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to ensure scientific and medical integrity.
    • Provide field‑based medical input to access dossiers, value communication, and payer interactions.
    • Deliver medical training and scientific support to internal colleagues.
    • Support early access and expanded access programmes under guidance from the TA Medical Lead.
  • Compliance and Medical Governance
    • Ensure all activities comply with AstraZeneca ethical standards, SOPs, and local regulatory frameworks.
    • Maintain up‑to‑date training on Ethical Interactions, GPEI, and Rare Disease policies.
    • Accurately document medical interactions, adverse event reports, and insights in compliance systems.
  • Essential Capabilities
    • Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD preferred).
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs or related scientific roles within rare diseases or Hematology specialty.
    • Experience in Rare Hematological Disorders & BMT is a plus.
    • Proven ability to translate scientific data into clinical value and communicate with scientific credibility.
    • Strong presentation, analytical, and project coordination skills.
    • Deep understanding of Saudi healthcare systems, referral patterns, and access pathways.
    • Fluency in English and Arabic.
    • Willingness to travel across KSA (50%).
    Desirable Capabilities
    • Experience supporting product launches or early‑access programmes.
    • Active contribution to medical education or registry collaborations.
