Position: Rigger I Certified (Offshore)

Job Summary

The Rigger 1 Certified is responsible for executing lifting and rigging operations safely and efficiently, in compliance with project requirements and Saudi Aramco standards. The candidate should hold Aramco certification cards (valid or expired), including Saudi Rigger cards, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform lifting and rigging operations according to approved procedures, plans, and Aramco safety standards.
  • Inspect rigging equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting devices prior to use to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Execute proper load handling techniques, including signaling, securing, and guiding loads during lifting activities.
  • Identify hazards during lifting operations and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain and verify rigging logs, inspection reports, and load charts.
  • Coordinate with crane operators, supervisors, and site personnel for safe execution of lifting tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with project safety policies, HSE regulations, and Saudi Aramco standards.
  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
  • Report any incidents, near misses, or equipment deficiencies immediately to the supervisor.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Aramco certification cards (valid or expired) in Rigger category.
  • Valid or expired Saudi Rigger cards.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in rigging operations in oil & gas, industrial, or offshore projects.
  • Familiarity with Aramco lifting and rigging standards and safety procedures.
  • Technical knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and load handling.
