This is a full‑time, hybrid Telecom Rigger role based. The Telecom Rigger will install, align, and maintain telecom equipment on towers, rooftops, and other structures, following strict safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities include climbing and working at heights, routing and terminating cables, mounting antennas and radios, and performing structural checks and basic hardware troubleshooting. The role involves conducting site surveys, assisting with equipment testing and commissioning, documenting work performed, and reporting progress and issues to the project supervisor or engineer.
The Telecom Rigger will collaborate closely with field engineers, health and safety personnel, and other team members to ensure timely, quality delivery of installation and maintenance projects.
- Relevant technical skills in telecom rigging, including tower and rooftop work, antenna and radio installation, cable routing and termination, and use of standard telecom tools and test equipment.
- Strong safety and compliance mindset, including working at heights, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fall‑arrest systems, and adherence to company and regulatory safety procedures.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings, site plans, and equipment manuals, and follow detailed installation and maintenance instructions.
- Solid problem‑solving skills for field troubleshooting, fault isolation, and supporting basic corrective actions under guidance from engineers.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fellow technicians on multi‑site deployments.
- Physical fitness suitable for climbing, lifting, and working in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Diploma or vocational qualification in telecommunications, electronics, electrical, or a related technical field; relevant certifications in tower climbing or rigging are an advantage.
- Previous experience in telecom rigging, wireless networks, or infrastructure installation is preferred, especially within the GCC or Saudi Arabia.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites across the region as required.
- Basic English communication skills, with Arabic language skills considered an asset.
