Job Description ## About the RoleBEC Arabia is seeking a dedicated
** PMV - Mechanic Assistant
** to join our Logistics Department in Khobar. This role is integral to supporting the maintenance and repair of our Plant, Machinery, and Vehicles (PMV) fleet, which powers some of the Kingdom’s most ambitious construction and infrastructure projects. As part of a dynamic and skilled team, you will assist in ensuring the operational readiness of critical equipment, contributing directly to the success of our  this position, you will work closely with senior mechanics and technicians, gaining valuable hands-on experience with a diverse range of heavy machinery and vehicles.

From routine maintenance to troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, your contributions will help maintain the efficiency and safety of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist senior mechanics in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy construction equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
* Perform routine inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
* Support the diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
* Conduct basic repairs and adjustments under the supervision of experienced technicians.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used and work completed.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance and repair activities.
* Assist in the inventory management of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
* Clean and organize the workshop area to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
* Transport tools, equipment, and parts to and from job sites as required.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
* Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.##

Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or heavy equipment industry.
* Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
* Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the maintenance of heavy machinery.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).##

Preferred Qualifications
* Certification in mechanical or automotive maintenance.
* Experience working with construction equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, or Volvo.
* Knowledge of diagnostic tools and software for heavy machinery.
* Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) standards.
* Previous experience in a multinational work environment.## Working Conditions
