Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field HVAC Inspector to oversee the inspection and quality control of HVAC installation works for the Oceanarium Project. The successful candidate will ensure all HVAC systems are installed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements while maintaining compliance with HSE regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of HVAC installation works, including ducting, piping, insulation, equipment, and air distribution systems.
Verify compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and applicable HVAC codes and standards.
Inspect installation of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, pumps, ductwork, and associated mechanical equipment.
Witness testing, balancing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Prepare inspection reports, quality records, punch lists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor workmanship, material compliance, and installation quality throughout project execution.
Ensure all inspection activities comply with project quality standards and HSE requirements.
Support project handover by verifying completion of inspection and commissioning documentation.
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in HVAC inspection for large-scale building, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, ventilation, ductwork, air balancing, and mechanical equipment installation.
Experience in HVAC testing, commissioning, inspection procedures, and quality assurance.
Familiarity with international standards and codes such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, ASTM, and applicable project specifications.
Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, P&IDs, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
GCC/Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.
