We are recruiting experienced HGV Technicians, HGV Mechanics, Truck Technicians and Commercial Vehicle Technicians to join a busy Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle workshop in Kidderminster.

The Role
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGVs and trucks
Servicing and maintaining Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and technical faults
Completing inspections and preventative maintenance
Identifying worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards
Carrying out wheel alignment and tyre fitting
Completing job cards, service records and warranty documentation
Using workshop diagnostic and management systems
Working closely with the wider workshop team to keep vehicles on the road
Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
Requirements
To be considered for this HGV Technician role, you will need:
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Repair or equivalent
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
Ability to identify faults and worn components to DVSA standards
Full UK driving licence
HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence, IRTEC accreditation and Mercedes-Benz experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
