Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Support clinic staff with administrative support related to medical records management and office operations

• Proven experience in medical front desk or administrative support within dental or medical clinics
• Knowledge of medical billing, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and insurance verification processes
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, health information management, and documentation review
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and office management software
• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and appointment scheduling
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and office team work
• Experience working in dental or orthodontic clinics is highly desire
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality of protected health information (PHI)
