Interior Designer – High-End Residential (Hawaii)

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team specializing in luxury residential homes
. This role is ideal for a designer who understands refined, timeless interiors and excels at managing sophisticated projects from concept through completion.

About the Role

You will lead full-service interior design projects for high-end private residences, collaborating closely with clients, architects, and vendors to deliver exceptional results that reflect both luxury and a strong sense of place.

Responsibilities

  • Lead residential projects from initial concept and programming through installation.
  • Develop interiors that reflect elevated aesthetics, thoughtful detail, and island-appropriate design.
  • Create and present design concepts, FF&E schemes, space plans, and material selections.
  • Manage client relationships with professionalism and confidence.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with architects, builders, craftspeople, and vendors.
  • Oversee ordering, tracking, and installation of furnishings and finishes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional interior design experience
    , with a strong focus on high-end or luxury residential projects
  • Proven experience managing projects independently.
  • Excellent design sensibility and diligence
  • Strong knowledge of custom furnishings, materials, finishes, and high-end vendors
  • Proficiency in industry software (AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch up or Revit, Chief Architect or similar)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of projects.
  • Experience working in Hawaii or similar coastal/remote markets is a plus.
