GBI has always maintained that our employees are our greatest asset, and we are now seeking to add to our team. We are looking for a Safety Specialist to join our team in Kihei, Hawaii (Maui).
Position SummaryThe Safety Specialist works under the direction of the Regional Safety Manager in partnership with our project team members to provide technical assistance and support of specific projects to maintain safety regulations, policies and protocols related to the control of environmental and/or occupational hazards. The engineer will focus on project specific inspections and needs, while monitoring established policies and procedures for safe practices when employees are faced with occupational hazards.
Lastly, this individual will act as a resource to job sites in meeting the Company's expectations as outlined in the Company Safety & Health Manual.
